The Form and the Code Window

In the center of the IDE, you should see a form with a title bar, Form1, as shown in Figure 2-4. The form is what you use to design the visual interface in VB. Behind the form is the code window in which you write your code. If you double-click the form, the code window will appear. If you click the X (Close) button on the upper right corner of this window, it will disappear and the form will reappear on top. Another way to toggle the appearance/disappearance of the form and the code window is to use theSolution Explorer.
